I was reading a blog post today talking about why my blog or my site may not be making as much money as it could.

One of the things that struck me was the idea of just giving away something for free and that is it.

In the post Danny mentions

In chain of conversion terminology, prospects aren’t converting into customers.

source

which is something I struggle with constantly. Most of the time it is not enough to just give something away for free in hopes that people will come back and buy.

We need to look at the converstion process in a little more detail. One of the things he talks about in the blog post is to do the following

You’re selling what they need instead of what they want.

It’s in the wrong format.

The price isn’t right.

You don’t ask for the sale.

There’s no urgency.

No social proof.

No guarantee.

You don’t optimize (again).

source

You will have to read the post to get the details, but as I read the main points and was thinking about the whole converstion process.

Why not create all of those points in a simple call to action durning the sign up process.

What I mean is find a way to create an optin box that useses all the points above to help the potential sign up even more ready to recieve what you have to offer then build your follow up email sequences using the following criteria above.

This is a simple way to know that you are maximizing your conversions with your potential prospects.

Why not do it using an exit pop. Create a compelling call to action using the major conversion points Danny talk about above that you can create with this fantastic exit pop . Then just WOW your prosepect with every email.

Over deliver with information, content and value.

One of the things I have always found difficult is sitting down and writing emails to my niche lists. Not anymore with Autoresponder Madness 2.0

I want to be clear right up front: Autoresponder Madness 2.0 is NOT for everyone!

But if you think there’s a mystery – or a secret – to higher conversion rates with your autoresponder emails, then you need to see this.

Let’s face it, writing a solid series of emails to your autoresponder list can be “challenging” for some of us. (If challenging means AGONIZING or PAINFUL!) And not everyone can – or will – take the time to get it right.

Even though it could mean the difference between measly half a percent click rates or double digit responses that make your eyes pop.

And if you’re like me, you just can’t stand getting those nonsense emails that just promote crap without any concern for content or any real purpose to the email.

In fact, I’ve gone from being on over 200 email lists to just being on 3.

And one of those 3 is from Andre Chaperon.

I LOVE getting emails from him! They’re engaging, entertaining, well thought out and – if he is recommending a product or service, it’s not just a crass “Buy This NOW!” link. Lots of times, I don’t even realize I’m being sold.

Tell me, is your autoresponder sequence turning your audience on – or turning them off?

When Andre decided to release a course on how to write the kinds of emails he writes, I knew I had to get it.

Autoresponder Madness 2.0 Review

Turns out, he wasn’t some crazy gifted writer who could pull this stuff out of thin air. That there was a method that anyone could follow once they learned the structure.

I started using the techniques in Autoresponder Madness in my chiropractic practice. I immediately noticed higher conversions. So I tried it on the weight loss site I run. I was astounded by the difference these little tweaks made to my open rates, and more importantly, to my conversions.

You see, Andre hooks you into reading his emails. Then leaves you hanging and ready to accept the next one. Then the next. And so on. Pretty soon, you’re trusting what he says and feel like you actually have a relationship with him. It’s highly addictive – and effective.

He teaches how you can build suspense and intrigue to keep your readers coming back time after time.

The overall effect is that whatever you are promoting, you will notice a huge increase in your conversations.

This means that if you already have a consistent stream of traffic coming to your website and they are signing up to your autoresponder and you implement the autoresponder madness techniques you can really consistently bring in a nice monthly income to your bank account.

This is by far one of or probably the best programs I have ever bought on autoresponder marketing that literally shows you how to write powerful emails that make people want to buy.

Autoresponder Madness is delivered via email over the course of 6 weeks so that you can slowly read, digest and implement the strategies on your business.

This is the only way to do email in my opinion and is only way you will get me to stay on your list, because I can’t wait for the next email.

If you are marketing online and are collecting email addresses, then you need Autoresponder Madness. It WILL increase your conversions and put more money in your pocket.

One thing Autoresponder Madness doesn’t do is tell you how to get the traffic to your website so they sign up to your email list so you can create the autoresponder series.

My company is in 6 different markets, and I’ll be training all my project managers on your methods in January so we can begin implementing it throughout our entire organization.

A couple days ago I wrote about one of my favorite sites “makemoneyforbeginners dot blogspot dot com”. If you are really serious about making money online and don’t know where to start then Grizzly from the great white north is the place to start. He gives a vary honest review of how to build a website and have it ranking in the natural search engines.

As long as you have the desire to write about something you enjoy and can identify the keywords you need to write about then the make money for beginners website gives you the ideas to get it done without have to pay hosting or design fees. I even kind of feel a little embarrassed about writing this post on my wordpress blog which I pay for hosting each month and even paid for a theme. But you can really do what I am doing and not have to pay those fees.

The reason I wrote the post was to show myself I could do exactly what Griz had done to rank for the term Problogger dot com, only I was trying to rank for makemoneyforbeginners.blogspot.com. For me it was more of an exercise rather then a way to make money.

Within seconds of posting the article in my wordpress blog I went to google.com and searched for the keyword within my site i.e. makemoneyforbeginners blogspot com site:alanjenks.com and found google had indexed the post and then searched in google for makemoneyforbeginners blogspot com and found my site on the 2nd page, which I thought was pretty cool. My site is in no way an authority site yet but having the power to do that felt good and kept the motivation up to write this post to attempt to create two listings.

The goal now with this post is to link to my original post with the keyword makemoneyforbeginners.blogspot.com and then go back and edit my other post to link to this post. I will then also update this post with the rankings and where everything sits minutes after posting to give you and idea that it can be done with a little consistency.

Where I go from here will be interesting. After reading Griz’s post seeing the results and duplicating it on my site, I think a great approach from here would be to review affiliate products. Write long articles as review over two days linking back to each article then putting a compelling link to click to the affiliate product and then test the results. Obviously, you will be writing the articles for the product name keyword and in the title you would have the product name that it is a review and potentially the author of the product this way you would be possibly be ranking for a low competition keyword that is searched for.

So lets say you are interested in knitting and you read everything at makemoneyforbeginners blogspot com and get your blogspot blog so maybe knitting dot blogspot dot com then maybe you find an affiliate program written by Jane Doe called Super Knitting Secrets, so day one your write a review of around 1000 words with the title “Super Knitting Secrets Review by Jane Doe: Don’t buy this knitting product until you read this first” or something to that effect, then you write your honest review. The next day you write an update review for Super knitting secrets of the same length and then link back to each article.

Always test the results. Are you seeing commissions? are there clicks to the page? Do you see the results in google.

I am already anxious to see the results of this test, kind of fun thinking of ideas and then testing them out. Much of that I have to thank Grizzly for from makemoneyforbeginners blogspot com for keeping my mind thinking and learning and actually seeing the results of his testing. This stuff works and it works well, you just can’t expect to click once and hope for all this cash to roll in.

Even if you start out with google adsense, it is a start. Most of what I learned on Grizzes blog was related to adsense as it use to be a big part of his income from that blog.

So what should you do from here. Go over to makemoneyforbeginners.blogspot.com sign up to his rss feed and start reading all the posts there is some awesome information there that you don’t have to pay $37 a month for, although he should be charging as most of the information is 10x better then most of the products I spent $1000′s on.

Update After Posting This Article

This time the post took a little longer to index, around 15 minutes but you will see from the image that google did index the post…

Google indexing for makemoneyforbeginners post

Then I wanted to see if the post was indexed for the keyword which is the next image…

Post is ranking on 2nd page for MakeMoneyForBeginners.blogspot.com

So most likely the post may fall off the SERP’s as I as of yet have not done any backlinking to the pages. I just simply wrote the articles on two separate days posted them to my wordpress blog and captured an image of my results.

If I now spend some time getting quality backlinks to the articles I am sure I will see better results in google.

Maybe I could have placed the keywords in better positions or done something different, but all I did was write and link the the posts and observed the results. I didn’t take me long to do and I actually enjoyed it.

This will probably not make me any money, but if you take this concept just like Grizzly outlines on his blog with some focused keywords with not a lot of competition that is focused on a affiliate product and do this multiple times you will really start to develop an authority site that makes money on a daily basis.

I think the biggest thing for the lack of double indexing is the fact that I haven’t got any backlinks coming in yet, but would love to hear your thoughts.

The recent posts on Make Money For Beginners blogspot dot com site by Griz got me thinking about my own site and my shear lack of effort in trying to promote it for this fear of nothing to say, which is such a negative way of looking at things.

Griz did this interesting post about Problogger. com and talking about double rankings on google for the term problogger dot com and how in a quick amount of time his Make Money Online site is showing up on the first page of google for the term.

Everytime I receive a email that there is a new post on Griz’s blogspot site I always seemed compelled to go and read and then get sucked into the conversation, not because the content is salesy and I am just another gullible buyer, but because it is one of the few blogs that rights a sort of no holds barred truth on how to get a website ranked in the search engines for keywords that people search for.

So my challenge on the post is to see how quickly I can rank for the term makemoneyforbeginners.blogspot, not because there are a ton of people that search for it but sort of a interesting study on the concept of writing for the SERP’s.

If there is one thing that Griz is awesome at is ranking for natural search. The funny thing is is that based on what I have read on his website he is just following the rules for good natural search positioning.

The plan is simple, go to his make money online website, read everything. Pick a topic that you are interested in. Don’t bother buying hosting or a domain name, go to blogger.com or wordpress.com and sign up for a free blog, then start writing really long posts on the thing that you are interested in paying particular attention to keywords and decided what keywords you are going to write on (like this post I am trying to rank for the term “makemoneyforbeginners.blogspot.com“). Fill the post with valuable information such as my quick and dirty here’s how to do it Grizzly style. Then go and get back links to that post or website for keyword terms you want to rank well for.

Slowly and over time you website will gain authority, just like Grizzly’s site has done for the term make money online. Google then looks at it as an authority site and soon you will be able to quickly gain good rankings for terms such as problogger.com that he has done so masterfully.

My site is in no way an authority site yet, but this is the play with this post, I am no longer going to sit her and think I have nothing to say. I am going to contribute to the community and help my fellow Canadians spend more time on the golf links even if they are from Manitoba.

His first post on problogger got ranked on the first page haven written around 1000 words and his keywords appeared between 2 and 4 times in the post, which really shows me that if you find a topic you love writing about and can naturally just write on a given topic within that niche you will be naturally writting according to latent symentic indexing guidelines i.e. you will have related words in your post which will help google find it and rank it faster.

As I play around in this website game the more I am realizing that I can’t get away anymore with just posting articles to the site. The information has to be new and worth it for people to click through.

If you follow the guildelines that Griz lays out on his makemoneyforbeginners dot blogspot dot com website, write long and interesting posts that make people stay, ready and comment then you shouldn’t really have a problem making money online in the end.

One thing I haven’t done yet on this website is go to the 1 post only to appear on the page. I think I will test that out as I write more consistently, but it really seems to make a difference on the blogspot site. My feelings at this point are the more you can get people to click around on your site the better off you will be so stick to the 1 post only then have a couple plugins that give people options to check out other posts. This is easily done in wordpress with their plugin functions, and pretty easy to do in blogspot if your layout is good. Just follow the layout that Grizzly has done on his blogspot site. It is simple and provides lots of areas to click and read more.

So to recap, if you are new to making money online, you got to check out makemoneyforbeginners.blogspot.com, read it absorb it then get yourself a blogger dot com account or wordpress dot com and start writing, write with keywords in mind and gather good backlinks. Rinse and repeat and you should be well on your way to a profitable blog assuming you have the write offers on the page, but that is a topic for a different post.

I was only concerened with seeing if I could rank for the term makemoneyforbeginners.blogspot.com and attempt to get the two listings as Griz did with his problogger dot com post.

Update

Now I am certainly no pro like Griz, but when you write because you love to do it, like I did with this post my post was indexed within google minutes after posting it…

site search for makemoneyforbeginners

Then I search for my keyword phrase “makemoneyforbeginners blogspot com” and find myself on the second page within minutes...

Search resultes for makemoneyforbeginners.blogspot.com

I am no genius, but have realized that I need to be more consistent and actually have something constructive to say. Thanks Griz, keep up the good work.
