This has been my first post on my blog in a long time. Funny thing about procrastination, time just seems to fly. The more and more that I don’t post to my blogs the more I realize that the only thing holding me back from not making money online is me. I get carried away with trying to do too many things as once and never really get anything accomplished.

So, why did that change today… I happened to be procrastinating yet again today and happened to go to JohnChow.com’s blog and watch a video he did. He was walking his daughter to the park. The message was great and a common theme in making money online. Why not make money online from the comfort of your own home so that you can go for a walk to the park with you daughter in the afternoon and do what really matters in life, family…

His message really stuck with me today partly because I can now relate being a new father to an 11 week old baby girl, but also because I recognized where he was spending the afternoon with his daughter. I remember that park from my days at University in Vancouver.

I realized that anybody can have the life I want, you just have to be willing to do the hard thing and get some work done. Thus my first post to my blog in a long time. I spent this morning reformatting my blog adding some revenue streams and committing to myself that I would post to my blog. I am going to go out on a limb and say everyday even if it is just something.

This afternoon I happened to be checking my AdSense income and was surprised with an almost doubling in my AdSense income for the last four days.

Great momentum on my side. So what made the difference, was it my thoughts today or a piece of action that I took last week in getting 10 articles written for one of my blogs then posting the articles to my blog, loading them up to ezinearticles, goarticles and article marketer and a week later I am seeing a doubling of my AdSense income.

So the moral of this blog post is do something, even if it is small, just do something that is going to make you another cent tomorrow so I can take my daughter to the park and enjoy a beautiful sunny day in God’s country… Thanks John.
